Privacy Policy

When you use PartVibe, we collect the following information:

• Account information: your name, email address, username (@handle), and your password — stored only as a secure cryptographic hash, never in plain text.
• Location selection: the country, province, district and city you choose at registration. This is a selection you make yourself — see Section 3.
• Profile and content: profile and cover photos, bio, and everything you create on the platform — posts, stories, comments, reactions, polls, photos and other uploads, and direct messages you send to other users.
• Marketplace data: if you run a store, your store details, products, prices, orders and reviews; if you buy, your order details (including the phone number you give the seller for delivery).
• Coin wallet records: a complete ledger of your coin activity — deposits (including payment proof screenshots and transaction IDs you submit), purchases, transfers, tips, boosts and rewards.
• Usage and device data: basic technical information such as the pages you visit, your interactions (for example post views, so view counts stay honest), IP address, browser/device type, and cookies or similar storage used to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as dark mode.

• To show you a feed, news, people, stores and products based on the city you selected.
• To operate the marketplace — stores, products, orders, reviews and seller/buyer communication.
• To run the coin system: rewards, purchases, boosts, advertising and transfers between users.
• To show location-based advertising — advertisers can target a city, not individual people.
• To keep the platform safe: preventing fraud, fake accounts, coin cheating and abuse, and enforcing our rules.
• To send service notifications (for example order updates, replies, and account messages).
• To improve PartVibe and fix problems.

PartVibe is built around the city you select yourself during registration (Country → Province → District → City). We do not collect, track or store your GPS location, and the app does not ask for device location permission. Your selected city is shown on your profile and is used to build your local feed and to let local advertisers reach their own city.

Advertising: ads on PartVibe are targeted by city and general interests, not by selling personal profiles. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.

Coins: PartVibe coins are a virtual, in-platform currency only. Coins have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for money, and can only be earned and spent inside PartVibe (for example on products, boosts, ads, music and tips). Your coin transaction ledger is kept so balances stay accurate and fraud can be investigated.

Sharing: We do not sell your personal information. Content you post publicly (posts, profile, store and products) is visible to other users by design. We share limited data only with the service providers we need to run PartVibe (such as hosting), and when the law requires it (for example a valid court order).

Security: Passwords are hashed, sign-in is protected by session cookies, and access to the admin panel is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and never share it.

Retention: We keep your information while your account is active. If your account is deleted, your personal content is removed as described on our Account Deletion page; coin ledger entries are anonymized and retained for fraud prevention and legal audit, and backups are purged within 90 days.

• Access & download: you can download a copy of your data from Settings → “My Data” (JSON export).
• Correction: you can edit your name, photo, bio and most account details any time in Settings.
• Deletion: you can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data. The full step-by-step process is on the Account Deletion Guide.
• Questions or complaints: contact us any time via the Contact page or at support@partvibe.com.

PartVibe is not intended for children under 13 years of age. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make an important change, we will announce it on the platform and update the effective date above. Continuing to use PartVibe after a change means you accept the updated policy.

A voice message is a short recording that you choose to make and send in a chat. When you send one, it is stored as a file on PartVibe — just like a photo upload — so the other person can listen to it later.

PartVibe does not record anything else: we do not record your conversations or listen in the background — the only audio stored on PartVibe is the voice messages you deliberately record and send. If you delete a message that contains a voice message, the voice file is deleted with it, subject to the normal backup retention described in Section 5.
